systems consists of 3 main components.
- Solar
Collectors
Solar collectors
absorb daylight and transfer
the
energy
to the fluid in the
solar circuit pipes
that flow through
them.
- Solar Circuit
The solar circuit
transports the hot
fluid from the
collectors to the
hot water cylinder.
- Hot Water
Cylinder
Hot fluid in the
solar circuit enters
the hot water cylinder through a
heat exchange coil
and the heat is
transferred to the
domestic hot water
supply. Your boiler
acts as a
secondary
source
and
tops
up
your
cylinder
as
required.
